Photo requirements

The photo size, format, and background conditions for the application.

The digital photo must be exactly 684 x 883 pixels (width x height).
The file-size limit is within 2.5 MB.
35 x 45 mm (width x height) is the officially stated proportion reference, not a print size requirement.
A colour photograph taken no earlier than 6 months before the application date.
The official MOS page does not state a file format or a background.
