Photo requirements
The photo size, format, and background conditions for the application.
- The Japan study page requires the letter of acceptance issued by a German university / language school / college (including the language of instruction), original and one copy.
- The portal per-file size cap is confirmed in the official record: within 10 MB.
- The portal accepts PDF / JPG / PNG (based on the official upload requirements). Multi-page documents are officially required to be PDF, and the file prepared in this procedure is also a PDF.
- Page count, minimum size, colour, and page ranges are not specified by the authority; the in-portal "Your documents" checklist is only visible after signing in, so its contents cannot be confirmed from public information.
